So where does Kennet Lodge meet?
So you’re probably thinking that we meet in a secret location tucked away down an alley way, where you must give special knocks on the door and give a password to guard who peeps out through a little flap before being let in.
Actually, Kennet Lodge meets at Sindlesham Masonic Centre, on Mole Road, Sindlesham, near Reading. In fact, the venue can be rented out for private events such as weddings, and even the Open University uses the venue for students to take exams.
Sindlesham Court is easy to get to and has ample parking. It has four Lodge rooms, social event rooms, two bars and various meeting rooms.
Actually, to enter the Lodge rooms whilst a Masonic meeting is in progress does require knocks and passwords, but the rooms themselves aren’t secret and non-Masons are welcome to visit Sindlesham and have a look around on one of their open days. If you’d like to have a look around get in contact and we can arrange a tour for you!
